You need to delete the contents of the SoftwareDistribution folder & reset the Catroot2 folder. You can run the Windows Update Troubleshooter and also Microsoft’s Online Windows Update Troubleshooter and check if that is any help in fixing any of your issues.If still no use, create an USB installation media then clean install. Make sure your OS partition (c partition) has enough space, more than 16GB. After this, clean boot computer, login system by a new admin account, mount iso and click setup.exe to in-place upgrade system again.
